PLAYING WITH STRANGERS -- Almost everyone has strong opinions about whether or not it's safe to play with strangers. Some of us love the thrill of experiencing intimacy with someone we just met. In this class, we'll talk about pickup play, anonymous partners, and "stranger danger" fantasies. Because playing with strangers is a form of edgeplay, this class will also cover the importance of safety, intuition, negotiations and red flags. You might go home with someone new.
LAPDANCING 101 -- This class teaches you how to give a great lapdance! The relationship between lapdancer and customer is overloaded with power exchange, so we'll also explore how to incorporate this unique form of "tease and denial" into your erotic D/s play. You'll feel confident using these moves to seduce a new lover or rekindle lust with a longtime partner. There will be opportunities for volunteers of all sizes, genders, and sexual orientations to participate and interact, no partner necessary.
DOMINATION FOR NON-ALPHAS-- Are you a shy, non-alpha person who is not quite sure how to effectively dominate your lover in the bedroom? This introductory class will show you how to become more dominant and feel more powerful and confident without losing sight of your sweetness.
BDSM FOR BEGINNERS: AN INTRODUCTION TO KINKY SEX -- If you're curious about BDSM and want to know more, this is a chance to learn about how to safely mix sensual pain with pleasure, develop skills like erotic bondage, and explore power through dominance and submission. We'll cover all the terminology, and give you an idea of what to expect within the lifestyle of alternative sexuality. Bring your creativity because we'll also demonstrate clever ways to turn regular household items into kinky implements for the bedroom so that you can get started tonight.
EROTIC ROLE-PLAY -- Want to be someone else...and be yourself better? This interactive class helps you figure out which roles turn you on, how to generate dialogue and run the scene, and what special aftercare measures you should consider. This workshop is filled with opportunities to act out your fantasies! We'll also talk about how to integrate role-playing with other BDSM activities, and we'll explore a few of the unmentionable taboos.
HOW TO DESIGN ASSIGNMENTS FOR SUBMISSIVES -- A creative class to inspire ideas for keeping the fire burning between scenes. These arousing homework assignments reinforce emotional connections, increase anticipation for the next scene, and feed the attention-starved body, mind, and soul. We'll also discuss the difference between service and assignments. In the demo, assignments completed by attendees are used to prompt BDSM scenes. This class is useful for committed couples and casual play partners.
DEAFNESS AND POWER EXCHANGE -- What does a deaf body represent in the BDSM power exchange? How do deaf leatherpeople communicate and exchange feedback during a scene? In addition to offering practical guidelines for playing with people who are d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing, we'll also look at the taboo fetishization of deafness whether expressed through enforced sensory deprivation of a helpless submissive, or through the over-the-top dominatrix ("Ready for another stroke of the cane? I can't hear you crying!").
DREAMING IN THE DUNGEON -- This class uses dreamwork, tarot, and intuition to help participants prepare for their next dungeon scene. Find out what's in the stars for you tonight! This class also provides an introduction to the topic of "BDSM and Spirituality," exploring how BDSM play sets in place a direct line of communication between the conscious and subconscious minds.
EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT SEX WORK -- Rita will field all of your questions about what it's like to work in the adult industry. She'll tell entertaining stories about peep shows, upscale call girl agencies, and professional dungeons, while addressing some of the sociological and political issues that surround sex work, especially regarding feminism, exploitation, and what it means to live an outlaw life in the suburbs. |
